Effective justice systems are essential for implementing EU law, upholding the rule of law and the values upon which the EU is founded and economic growth. The Justice Scoreboard presents an overview of indicators of such systems (efficiency, quality and independence, and others relevant for the single market) and helps improving their effectiveness. It informs the annual Rule of Law Report, the country specific analysis in the European Semester and the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
