Since mid-2022, new EU rules apply governing modern technologies used in vehicles, to improve road safety and reduce pollution. Specific requirements for automated and fully automated (‘driverless’) vehicles and their systems have also been introduced in 2022 to ensure that they are safe to use. As a first step, a limitation in the number of registrations has also been introduced. This initiative will lift the limitation in the number of registrations for the Automated Parking Systems.
