Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 sets out protective measures against pests of plants. It includes the establishment of protected zones, prohibitions and requirements for import and trade of certain plants. Those measures are based on risk assessments carried out by EFSA, the European Plant Protection Organisation (EPPO) or other authorities.
