Annex XIV lists the substances of very high concern which are subject to authorisation as provided for under Article 56(1) of the REACH Regulation. The list is periodically updated on the basis of recommendations from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The purpose of this draft Regulation is to update the entries of the listed phthalates DEHP, DBP, BBP and DIBP for their endocrine disrupting properties (human health and environment).
