The new regulation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) sets out the elements of the Performance Framework. However, further specification of the elements of the monitoring and evaluation system and its operation is needed (e.g. monitoring and evaluation elements to assess the CAP, data for monitoring and evaluation to be provided by Member States, evaluation plan as a basis to implement monitoring and evaluation activities).
