Communication on the European Research Area Implementation
Research and innovation
The Commission adopted its Communication on “A new ERA for Research and Innovation” on 30 September 2020 describing a new vision for a stronger ERA based on four priorities: 1. Prioritising investments and reforms 2. Improving access to excellence 3. Translating R&I results into the economy 4. Deepening the ERA. Four years later, the present Communication looks at the progress achieved in these areas and identifies remaining challenges.
