Ecodesign requirements for water heaters and tanks (review)

Energy

In 2013, the EU adopted an energy labelling regulation to inform consumers on energy performance and other environmental parameters, and an ecodesign regulation on space and combination heaters that e.g. sets minimum energy efficiency requirements. The Commission will review the ecodesign requirements for water heaters in light of technological and market developments, and the European Green Deal commitment.
