This Implementing Act establishes the list of “neighbouring container transhipment ports” under the FuelEU Maritime Regulation. Article 2(2) of the FuelEU Regulation lays down the criteria for selecting a port to be listed as a neighbouring container transhipment port. Stops of containerships in a “neighbouring container transhipments port” listed in the Implementing Act will not be counted as a “port of call” for the purpose of the FuelEU Regulation.
