The EU strategy to tackle organised crime announced the adoption of the action plan against trafficking of cultural goods for the years 2022-2025 with the objective to disrupt criminal activities and protect cultural heritage. The overall aim is to raise awareness, improve information exchange and cooperation, including with third countries and strengthen capacity building and expertise. The action plan will also explore ways to improve the online and offline traceability of cultural goods.
