The initiative adjusts the implementing rules for the EU school fruit, vegetables and milk scheme. When simplified cost options are used, it removes the requirement that aid applications shall include the price of the product supplied/service delivered, and the requirement that aid shall be paid after checking the proof of payment. It also completes the non-exhaustive list of verifications part of the on-the-spot checks on aid applied for the supply of products and for educational measures.
