Eurojust facilitates the cooperation and coordination of investigation and prosecution of serious cross-border and organised crime among Member State competent authorities and third countries. A recent evaluation confirmed that Eurojust provides an indispensable neutral and effective platform but that it could do even more. The Commission will conduct an impact assessment to explore how to strengthen Eurojust’s mandate, equipping it better to react quickly to the dynamic and international dimensions of organised crime and hybrid threats.
