Set up in 2005, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control is an independent European agency with the mission to identify, assess and communicate current and emerging threats to human health from communicable diseases and related special health issues. This evaluation aims to assess the performance of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control in relation to its objectives, mandate, tasks and procedures.
