The European Commission is required to carry out information measures on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to help explain, implement and develop the CAP. The evaluation will examine the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency and EU value added of the Commission’s information policy on the CAP. It will include an assessment of the communication strategy 2016-2020. Its results and recommendations will feed into the design of the information policy on the CAP post 2020
