This evaluation stems from Article 2 of the regulation EU 2019/1155 amending the Visa Code, which provides for the obligation for the Commission to produce an evaluation of the application of Regulation (EC) No 810/2009 (the Visa Code). This overall evaluation shall include an examination of the results achieved against objectives and of the implementation of the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 810/2009, as amended by Regulation EU 2019/1155.
