The act aims to extend the application period for obtaining a replanting authorisation after the grubbing-up of a vineyard. The aim is to give growers more time to analyse if the vineyard can be replanted with a different vine variety which is more disease resistant, better adapted to the changing climatic conditions and better adapted to changing market perspectives.
