New major gas infrastructures have entered into operation since 2017 or will do it soon, creating new emergency supply corridors and/or modifying the list of Member States that can contribute to address potential failures of the main gas supply routes. When updating the composition of the risk groups, the Commission will take into account the results of the simulations of gas supply and infrastructure disruption scenarios carried out by ENTSOG and will consult the Gas Coordination Group.
