The Implementing Regulation lays down the arrangements for the technical implementation of common European risk classification scheme (ERCS). The ERCS was developed by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to introduce a standardised and comprehensive methodology of classifying the risk posed by occurrences in civil aviation.
