In September 2020, the Commission adopted the EU anti-racism action plan for 2020-2025 to bolster action against racism in the EU. It set out measures covering a comprehensive range of policy areas and encouraged Member States to adopt national action plans against racism by the end of 2022, with close involvement of civil society. This initiative will assess progress in the implementation of the action plan at EU level and of Member States’ national action plans.
