The draft Regulation will complement the rules laid down in Part IV of Regulation (EU) 2016/429 as regards registration of certain aquaculture establishments. It will set out the types of aquaculture establishments that may be exempted by the Member States from the registration requirements, as well as the types of aquaculture establishments and operators, including transporters, that may be exempted from certain record keeping requirements.
