Among the other systems, the EU imports organic products certified by control authorities and control bodies whose standards have been recognised as equivalent to rules of the repealed EU legislation on organics. This recognition is set to expire by 31/12/2024. This amendment sets the list of control authorities and control bodies recognised to certify operators and groups of operators in third countries, compliant with the new EU legislative framework on organics currently in force, for the purpose of import of organic products into the EU.
