Persistent organic pollutants - hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD)

Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 implements the commitments of the Union under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. HBCDD is listed in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 and – following the Regulation – is subject to review by the Commission. This act would amend the limit value for the presence of HBCDD as unintentional trace contaminant in substances, mixtures and articles.
