The Union is a Party to the Stockholm Convention on persistent organic pollutants. The next Conference of the Parties in June 2022 is expected to list PFHxS, its salts and PFHxS-related compounds under the Convention. Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 implements the commitments of the Union under the Stockholm Convention. This delegated act will amend Annex I of the Regulation to include PFHxS, its salts and PFHxS-related compounds to implement the listing of these substances under the Convention.
