PNR Directive Evaluation
Home affairs, Justice and fundamental rights
The PNR Directive entered into force on 27 April 2016, establishing a key tool for Member States to combat serious crime and terrorism. After 8 years, an Evaluation should be conducted to check the efficiency and effectiveness of the instrument as well as its coherence with certain EU legislative acts that have been subsequently adopted in this policy field. The Evaluation should also provide a comprehensive view of how the Member States are implementing the provision of the PNR Directive.
