The Directive (EU) 2019/904 (“Single Use Plastics Directive”) requires Member States to report to the Commission data on collected waste tobacco products with filters and filters marketed for use in tobacco products. Article 13(4) of the Directive obliges the Commission to adopt an Implementing Decision laying down the format for reporting these data and information on the quality check report. The draft Implementing Act published for this public feedback aims to meet this obligation.
