This delegated act will amend certain procedural criteria for accreditation bodies, and for control bodies and authorities controlling operators in third countries and products certified organic for sale in the EU, under the organic compliance regime established in Regulation (EU) 2018/848. The proposed changes are required to avert possible trade disruptions. They do not change the fundamental requirements, respect international standards (ISO) and are consistent with implementation phase requirements.
