The revision of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/624 intends to introduce conditions for ante-mortem inspection at the holding of provenance in case of slaughter of bovine and equine animals and to revise the conditions when post-mortem inspection can be performed under the supervision of or by the official veterinarian since practical difficulties have been experienced further to the application of the new (stricter) rules established by Regulation (EU) 2019/624.
