Since 2019 the Agency is responsible for authorisation and certification processes in the railway sector which are funded through fees and charges. With the growing experience of the Agency and the applicants, it is now possible to replace some fees based on an hourly rate with fixed fees that are more transparent for the railway sector. The invoicing procedure is also reviewed to ensure timely recovery of costs by the Agency.
