We recommend that the exemption for Quartz Metal Halide (MH) lamps be discontinued, with a 12 month transition period. Exemptions for Ceramic Metal Halide Lamps up to and including 250 Watts as well as all metal halides over 250 watts, can be allowed to be reviewed in 3 years.
