Veterinary medicinal products administrated orally by means of mixing in the water, milk or feed and administered by the animal keeper are associated with increased risk if used improperly. To ensure the proper administration and appropriate dosing of these products and to improve their effective and safe use, rules for veterinarians and animal owners are set. These rules will contribute to public and animal health, safety of the food chain and the environment.
