Suspensions of import into the EU of certain endangered animal and plant species from specific source countries

The purpose of this initiative is inter alia to introduce trade restrictions for certain species of wild plants and animals from particular third countries using the criteria set in EU legislation to ensure the sustainability and legality of trade in wildlife.
