This implementing act aims to define technical specifications for individual online collection systems, to implement the requirements laid down in Article 11 of Regulation (EU) 2019/788 on the European citizens’ initiative (ECI). The objective is to ensure that the technical and security features of such systems provide for adequate protection of the data collected, stored and transferred throughout the procedure and that statements of support are collected in compliance with the ECI rules.
