The EU and its Member States are Parties to the Aarhus Convention on access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters. This initiative will analyse the findings of the Convention’s Compliance Committee as regards the application of the Convention to Commission decisions on state aid measures, and assess options to address this issue, in light of the Convention, and taking into account the EU rules concerning State aid.
