This initiative updates the requirements for the EU whole vehicles type approval (Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2018/858) to take into account the regulatory developments as regards: (1) the first phase of implementation of the Euro 7 Regulation; (2) the advanced driver distraction warning system for small series and special purpose vehicles; (3) the possibility to approve motor vehicles with automated valet parking in unlimited series and (4) the equivalency list of alternative UN Regulations.
