Response to Amendment of the EU ETS Monitoring and Reporting Regulation (MRR) in response to the ETS revision/Fit For 55 (Batch 2)

Condor Airlines appreciates the opportunity to provide feedback on the EU Commission's open consultation regarding the draft Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2066, referred to as the Monitoring and Reporting Regulation (MRR) of greenhouse gas emissions pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, as amended by Directives 2023/958 and 2023/959. This draft regulation specifically addresses the introduction of an ETS Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) system for Non-CO2 effects in aviation, requiring aircraft operators to monitor and report their Non-CO2 emissions annually from 2025.
