Response to EU financing instrument to support Ukraine

We, the Ukrainian non-profit organizations which implement the EU-funded project Mainstreaming sustainable development in Ukraine in line with the European Green Deal, welcome the proposed instrument to support the reforms of Ukraine leading to strengthening of macroeconomic stability, ensuring the vital investment in post-war recovery and continuous technical support and assistance. We believe the operation of the Ukraine Facility is likely to lead to a significantly more advanced process of the European integration of Ukraine and open the opportunities allowing the state to fully transform its paradigm of development. The analysis of the proposed draft Regulation allows identifying numerous benefits the Ukraine Facility provides, while also spotting some important areas where further efforts may be needed to ensure the efficient operation of the Facility.
