Response to EU Start-up and Scale-up Strategy

Dear commissioner, thank you for the initiative I see it as an encouragement for everyone in the startup/scaleup ecosystem, because you were able to get the attention of around fifty impressive founders and ecosystem builders who are serious about driving change. As we have discussed: Cultural shift is crucialwe need to move faster and be more ambitious, especially in corporates that can bridge industrialization gaps. Successful exits fuel the ecosystem, enabling reinvestment and new funds. The EU must become a truly unified market by aligning key regulations without delays. Stock options should be tax-friendly to encourage entrepreneurship. Investment levels must compete with the US and China. On top of that I would recommend focusing on the link between the already well-established EU R&D ecosystem which serves as an excellent platform to connect startups & scaleups with large industry players & research organizations. I am happy to provide further vision on this topic together with my large industry peers. It would be great if you continue the proactive discussion. Perhaps in multiple sub-groups so that participants can focus on a specific top and deliver. As mentioned, I am willing to support.
