The Grid Package should strengthen the role of the European institutions and provide robust procedures to implement most beneficial investments for Europe, overcome fragmented national regulations and provide strong tools to balance the interests of the impacted member states. We are a private initiative to identify and develop the most needed cross border electricity interconnectors in Europe. By taking a pan-European perspective and mobilizing private funds in combination with a predictable, reliable and harmonised European grid regulation we are convinced that the necessary speed of developments can be achieved.
