EPC

The European Payments Council ('EPC') is a non-for-profit organisation (ASBL) representing Payment Service Providers ('PSPs'), that supports and promote European payments integration and development within the Single Euro Payments Area ('SEPA') The mission of the EPC is to contribute to safe, reliable, efficient, economically balanced and sustainable, convenient payments, supporting an integrated European economy, its end-users’ needs, as well as its competitiveness and innovation goals. The EPC does so through: - the development and management of pan-European payment and payment related schemes (i.e., the SEPA schemes); - the formulation of positions and the contribution of views on relevant EU regulations and/or policies affecting EU payments; - an open dialogue with relevant EU stakeholders and regulators, ensuring that the EPC activities remain relevant and fit for purpose.
