Disseminate knowledge, exchange best practices, analyse data, promote institutional cooperation and organise capacity-building training for public officials, on the following issues in the drinking water and wastewater sector: - governance (i.e. division of competencies among national, regional and local authorities) - implementation of relevant EU legislation - tariffs and price setting - cost recovery through tariffs - regulatory models in use in Europe - key performance indicators on service quality standards - incentives for capital investment and efficient operational costs - incentives for environmentally sustainable industrial processes - universal access to drinking water and sanitation services - social affordability of prices for vulnerable customers - customer engagement and protection
