•EGCSA was formed to protect and promote the interests of organizations and companies involved in the development of marine exhaust gas cleaning system technology and associated supporting technologies targeted at the reduction of pollution and green house gas emissions from prime movers in the maritime sector •EGCSA will develop and provide materials and information and facilitate training and knowledge promulgation to support the understanding and commercial technical implications of the use of exhaust gas cleaning technology as a means to meet present and future emissions and climate change targets.
