Con motivo de la presente convocatoria de datos sobre el nuevo Plan de Acción sobre la Aplicación del Pilar Europeo de Derechos Sociales, HOGAR SÍ presentan las siguientes contribuciones, en el documento adjunto, con la intención de colaborar desde la experiencia de la organización y de adaptar la futura normativa de la Comisión Europea a la actual crisis de vivienda y sinhogarismo que afecta a todos los Estados de la Unión, y alinear su desarrollo con los objetivos de la Plataforma Europea para Combatir el Sinhogarismo (EPOCH) y el compromiso asumido por los Estados miembros ,así como de las principales instituciones Europeas, de erradicarlo antes de 2030.

Response to Review of the State aid rules on the Services of General Economic Interest (“SGEI”)

As part of this Call for Evidence on the State aid - revision of the rules on services of general economic interest, HOGAR SÍ would like to share the executive summary of Primero H, the first social REIT (SOCIMI) in Spain a pioneering impact investment initiative in the housing sector. Primero H aims to expand the stock of affordable rental housing through a model that combines financial sustainability with social returns. This initiative channels private investment into stable and affordable housing solutions, contributing to the prevention and reduction of homelessness. The attached executive summary provides evidence of the positive impact of this model, highlighting how social impact investment initiatives can create real opportunities for access to housing for people in vulnerable situations. Response to European Affordable Housing Plan

On the occasion of this Call for evidence on the European Affordable Housing Initiative, HOGAR SÍ is pleased to submit the executive summaries of three initiatives implemented in Spain - HÁBITAT, DAV and H4Y FUTURO projects - which clearly and rigorously demonstrate that intervention models based on direct access to housing, such as Housing First or Housing Led, are effective in tackling homelessness in a wide diversity of profiles. These range from people who have experienced recent episodes of homelessness to more chronic homelessness, as well as young people experiencing homelessness. These programmes have been developed in collaboration with Provivienda, an organisation with extensive experience in the field of social housing and have been externally evaluated. The results show positive impacts both on residential stability and on the improvement of health, personal autonomy and social integration of the participants.
