On behalf of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), we appreciate the opportunity to provide input on the European Commissions upcoming Apply AI Strategy and its linked action plans. HIMSS welcomes the EUs efforts to establish a comprehensive and forward-looking approach to artificial intelligence (AI) that encourages a framework that promotes responsible innovation, enhances digital trust, and ensures that AI-driven technologies deliver meaningful improvements across all sectors, including health and social care.
