The European Oceans Pact presents a vital opportunity to address longstanding imbalances in EU fisheries policy and ensure that island and coastal communities have the support they need to sustain their livelihoods and traditions. We look forward to continued engagement on this initiative and are ready to collaborate with the Commission to shape policies that promote the equitable and responsible use of marine resources.
