Response to Carbon removals, carbon farming and carbon storage - certification methodologies for permanent carbon removals

ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the European Commissions draft Delegating Regulation on Methodologies for Certifying Permanent Carbon Removals under the new EU Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming Regulation (CRCF). ISCC is actively participating in the CRCF Expert Group and has already submitted input on the draft implementing regulation for CRCF verification rules. We therefore contribute this submission both as a reflection of our experience under the RED and as a constructive input to the ongoing legislative process.
