For companies like us, setting up production facilities in Europe, the difficulties we are suffering are: + Small finance options for CAPEX. Bank finance is possible once customer demand is clear. But this a chicken and egg problem, and we need to setup facilities ahead of customer compromise. + Need to compete with ASIA. Automation give us options, but we need cheap buildings, energy and water to be able to compete. + Need to make sure governments have enough funds to keep investment levels in semiconductors beyond mid 2026

Response to Digital package – digital omnibus

Response to Evaluation and Revision of the Chips Act ("Chips Act 2.0")

Beyond the recovery funds finishing mid 2026, several countries does not have budget to keep supporting the semiconductor industry. 3rd IPCEI, will need special allocation of funds to the member states. Chip Act 2.0 should provide this funding to the member states.
