LKAB’s feedback relates to Annex 1 which deals with product benchmarks. LKAB proposes to amend the sintered ore product definition from ‘Expressed in tonnes of sintered ore as leaving the sinter plant' to ‘Expressed in tonnes of sintered ore as leaving the production plant’. The argumentation is that if not amended, this could create a discussion about what a sinter plant is. LKAB proposes the change because there is not an easy way to say what a sinter plant is, considering that new climate effective production of a sinter product might not need to be produced in a traditional sinter plant.
