The Malaysian timber industry recognises the importance of the proposal on prohibiting products made with forced labour and its emphasis on due diligence requirements. Malaysian producers, in implementing the Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) for over a century, also take into consideration human rights to ensure that our tropical timber products are produced in a sustainable manner.
