Response to Delegated Regulation on data access provided for in the Digital Services Act

WHAT TO FIX has been conducting research on social media ad revenue share programs -> https://www.whattofix.tech/publications/content-to-payment/. We believe that researchers must be able to determine to what extent platforms may be channeling funds to actors engaged in illegal activity, as well as assess how platforms monetization offerings, and the systems and processes that underlie them, may be fueling problematic incentives and contributing to negative effects on fundamental rights, civic discourse, electoral processes, public security and public health. In this submission, we propose adjustments to recital 12 to promote access to monetization data.
