Az Alapítvány célja a politikai kultúra fejlesztése a nemzeti elkötelezettség és a kereszténydemokrata eszmekör jegyében. Ehhez kapcsolódóan célja az ország határain belül, illetve a határon túli magyarság lakta területeken tudományos, kutatási tevékenység szervezése, elsősorban a társadalomtudományok (történelem, közgazdaságtan, jog, politika, szociológia stb.) körében, majd részben ezen kutatások eredményeinek felhasználásával is oktatási, ismeretterjesztő tevékenység végzése, mely jelentős mértékben hozzájárulhat az állampolgárok közéleti ismereteinek szélesítéséhez, a politikai szféra, a pártok és az állampolgárok kapcsolatának erősítéséhez, valamint a határon túli magyarság nemzeti elkötelezettségének fejlesztéséhez, nemzettudatának erősítéséhez.
