The CLP regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008) sets rules for the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. It contains a list of notes in Annex VI that can be assigned to substances with harmonised classification. These notes provide further instructions how to classify and label these substances or mixtures containing them. The proposal assigns new notes (added to CLP by a recent amendment) to certain substances.
